“We Found Love” Stays at Number One

This Thursday Rihanna’s single “We Found Love” which features DJ Chris Harris held the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the eight consecutive weeks. This occasion makes the single the longest running number one song of Rihanna’s career. “We Found Love” took over Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” which had stayed in the number one spot for seven weeks earlier this year. The song also beat out Rihanna’s previous number one hit “Love the Way You Lie” featuring Eminem.

“We Found Love” is the first single off of Rihanna’s sixth studio album “Talk That Talk.” Rihanna is scheduled to finish her most recent tour, “Loud” this Thursday in London. Coming in behind “We Found Love” is LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It” at number two for the seventh straight week.
