Rio De Janeiro Carnival Costumes
There are multiple times in a year when people are allowed, many times even expected to dress up and celebrate like crazy. On Christmas you can see lots of Santa Clause’s walking around with their red robes and heavy boots, while on Easter the occasional bunny passes your way in a hopping fashion. Next to these two times Halloween, Mardi-Gras, and Carnival are the most well known times of the year with almost everyone in costumes. Many Carnivals have their own individual dress code and some stick out more than others, but if you are looking for some spectacular outfits and clothing pieces, be sure to turn the TV on from March 5th till March 8th. It is time for the Rio de Janeiro Carnival in Brazil!
You are going to see lots of hip shaking samba, feathers, beads, masks, make-up, flowers, scarves, jewelry, and all kinds of bright materials wrapped around different body parts. You can find the most extravagant outfit that magically holds everything together all the way through the two day parade. If you like to participate in one of the Samba Schools you simply need to apply early enough and put on your costume to walk down the streets of this vibrant city.
