Tourists Return To Hawaii
Since the earthquake and the tsunami in Japan, habitants and visitors of countries close to the Pacific Ocean have had to worry about waves hitting them as well. Approximately a week after the disaster in Japan began Hawaii was hit by the first wave that resulted from the same earthquake that affected Japan. Due to the distance of the epicenter of the earthquake, Hawaii was lucky and ended up experiencing only small waves, which did not cause any harm to any of the tourists or citizens of the island state. These news encouraged tourists that there was not much to fear anymore and that their holiday could continue as it was planned originally.
The pictures of beautiful landscapes, including mountains, beaches, lakes or fields will still remain and will continue to fascinated visitors every day. Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie took a tour on the islands to see how the tourist business was dealing with the scares of a tsunami. To his delight managers and companies were able to pick up their businesses and begin to follow the same schedule that they had before the earthquake. For that matter the Pride of America, a 2,000-passanger big cruise ship is going to return to the dock at the coast of Kailua-Kona.
